EHCI 2017: Czech Rep. ranks 17th, main difference from neighbouring Slovakia is a decent but not excellent score on Accessibility

According to the 2017 Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI). published by the Health Consumer Powerhouse, some eastern European EU member systems are doing surprisingly well, particularly Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Estonia, considering their much smaller healthcare spend in Purchasing Power adjusted dollars per capita. OECD New Health Technologies report: Electronic Health Record: Data governance readiness & technical, operational readiness in Czech Repulic are low

Eurostat on technical resources in hospitals: Czech Republic: Availability of operating theatres in hospitals relative to population size decreases

Recently published Eurostat data report widespread increase in the availability of imaging equipment in hospitals over several decades. The number of CT scans relative to population size increased across the EU, for example. In the Czech Republic, availability of operating theatres in hospitals relative to population size decreased, the data say.
