ING Bank Czech Republic: Surprising fall in industry

Industrial production fell by 6.4% year-on-year in June after more than 3% growth in previous months. Some of this is related to calendar effects and other one-off factors, but the weaker result is also a reminder that Czech industry is not immune to the German industrial slowdown.

BCG 2019 Sustainable Economic Development Assessment: Czech Republic ranks 24th

Boston Consulting Group’s Sustainable Economic Development Assessment (SEDA) tracks relative well-being of a country’s citizens and provides insight into how well a country converts its wealth into well-being. Ten dimension and fourty indicators have been assessed for 143 countries in the 2019 data set. Czechia ranks 24th.
