Digitization of Czechia: Government, business and academics, each has contribution to make
Digitization is part of a larger fight to maintain the progress past generations have made, and improve on it. The biggest lesson learned on July 21, 2022 at the AmCham Digitization of Czechia confernce is that when we focus on clear and common principles, we can put aside the political, commercial and academic rivalries that block us from using the technology we have today to make a better world for the next generation.

Czech Investment in ICT Equipment, Software at 4.3% of GDP
In 2019, companies and public administration invested almost CZK 245 bn in ICT equipment and software. Investment in software and databases has been growing at a significantly faster pace, accounting for two-thirds of the total investment in ICT, than investment in ICT equipment. More than 18% of the total R&D expenditures in the country were spent in the ICT industry.
