Invitation: Health Care 2.0: How Health Insurance Companies Should Be Functioning?

Health Care 2.0 invites to a discussion, which will be held on Tuesday 23 April 2019 at 3 pm in the building of the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (NHÚ AV ČR building), Politických vězňů 7, Praha 1, 2nd floor, room no. 7. How Health Insurance Companies Should Be Functioning?

 

 

Topics for discussion:


• What needs to be changed so that insurance companies are motivated to fulfill their networking and control roles and buy the care that benefits their clients most? 

• How to strengthen the relationship between the insured and the insurance company, how to motivate the insured to move comfortably within the health system?

• What steps should be taken in primary and outpatient care to ensure that our citizens receive the right care, at the right time and in the right place?

• What organizational changes are should our hospitals expect, and how should health insurance companies support them within their contractual policy and within selected reimbursement mechanisms?
