Public Procurement - Changes Coming Soon

The amendment to the Public Procurement Act (hereinafter referred to as the "PPA") was published in the Collection of Laws under No. 166/2023 Coll. on 16 June 2023 and will come into force on the 30th day after its publication, i.e. on 16 July 2023. Similarly to previous amendments to the public procurement legislation, procurement procedures initiated before the amendment comes into force will be completed in accordance with the existing wording of the PPA.

What’s new in immigration law from summer 2023?

The latest amendment to the Act on the Residence of Foreigners, the Employment Act and the Public Health Insurance Act, and other related acts was approved in June 2023 and most of the changes brought by it will come into force from 1 July 2023. The main objective of the amendment to the Act on the Residence of Foreigners is the transposition of the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council regarding the blue cards.
