Budget Committee Discussion

The Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies discussed several governmental proposals at its session on 3 October. Firstly, the Committee considered measures that the Government would like to employ aiming at lowering the public debt (i. e. an increase of VAT for limited time span, an increase in the system of income taxation; passed by the Government on 23 May). Further discussion is scheduled on 10 October. Secondly, the Committee also discussed the EU-directive transposition stipulating anti-discriminatory gender insurance condition. The Committee recommended the Chamber of Deputies to pass the Bill. 
The next session of the Committee is scheduled on 10 October. The Committee is to further discuss the governmental measures to cut the budget deficit and state budget proposal on year 2013.
