Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) will form a coalition with the Mayors and Independents for the general election to be held in October 2017. According to the Czech News Agency, deputy chairwoman of KDU-CSL Zuzana Roithova said the parties together can expect to win 500,000 votes, which is well above the threshold of 5% needed to enter the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Czech Parliament. The ambition is to gain 15% of votes.
