Czech government adopts Partnership Agreement for 2014-2020

On 17 April, the draft Partnership Agreement for the 2014-2020 programming period was sent to the Commission for approval, following its adoption by the Czech government. The partnership agreement is a framework strategy for the spending of EU structural funds. Having received the draft Agreement, the European Commission has 3 months to sign it, or to state objections. Formal Commission approval is expected in late summer. During the 3-month period, Czech Republic will also prepare its draft operation programs. According to Daniel Braun from the National coordination authority, the agreement should prove to be a quality strategy for the next decade.
