CZELO: The first Czech technological nanosatellite successfully launched

In June 2017 the first Czech technology nanosatellite (VZLUSAT-1) was successfully launched into Earth´s orbit using the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle in the Indic spaceport in the Bay of Bengal. VZLUSAT-1 is a 2U CubeSat type technological nanosatellite for the in-orbit demonstration of new technologies and products. . Its mission is to verify new products and technologies on Earth´s orbit. Mission is a joint project of the Czech Aerospace Rresearch institute and Test Centre (VZLU), commercial partners and technical universities (CTU, UWB) of the Czech Republic. It is partly financed by commercial partners and by government support, CZELO writes.
