Digital Czech Republic in Digital Europe - official publication

"Digital Czech Republic in Digital Europe" was created as part of the research project "New Challenges of e-Government in a European-wide Context for Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Czech Republic", carried out by the government Technology Agency of the Czech Republic in coopration with SKODA AUTO University and for the use by the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of the Interior. 

Comprehensive recommendations are mainly based on current European best practices. The key priority was the selection of methods and procedures that would fit into Czech socio-economic conditions and thus have the potential to be effectively implemented. The material covers the following areas:

  • Digitization of public administration and services;
  • Developing digital skills and compensating for the shortage of ICT workers;
  • E-invoicing and its use in EU Member States;
  • Digitization of SMEs;
  • Regulation of e-Government in the EU;
  • Startup support;
  • Cyberspace and cyber security in the Czech Republic.
