The Ministry of Finance has proposed an amendment of the Act on Budget Rules (zákon o rozpočtových pravidlech) that reflects commentaries of the European Union. The aim of the Bill is to introduce direct condition under which public subsidies with EU-funds contribution should be paid. In case the recipient would breach any condition of the Act of Public Contracts (zákon o veřejných zakázkách), the bill allows ceasing of payments. Furthermore, the Bill enables to cease the payments in case that the recipient does not meet any condition under which the subsidy has been awarded. 
The Bill is currently in the internal commentary procedure. The Ministry welcomes any comments till 29 March.
