2nd February 2012

From the sessions of the Government (December 21, 2011 - February 1, 2012)

At its session on December 21, the Government passed draft Amendment to the Construction Act proposed by the Ministry for Regional Development. The aim of the amendment is to eliminate interpretation/application problems, and administrative burden connected with the currently effective law (information disclosure, qualification criteria related to education, public commenting procedure, etc.). The draft amendment act will have its first reading at the session of the Chamber of Deputies starting on January 31.

The Government approved a material proposal of a new Cadastre Act at its session on January 4. The material proposal is a reaction to the brand new concept and provisions of the Civil Code draft that is currently being debated in the Senate. Based on the material proposal, the Ministry of Agriculture will draft a normative text by October 31, 2012.

At its session on January 11, the Government passed the Strategy of Infrastructure Development and a timeline for projects for the years 2012-2013 proposed by the Ministry of Transport.
