Members of Czech and Slovak government gathered on 24 April on joint meeting in Skalice in Slovakia. On their second meeting from 2002 both governments reminded themselves of common historical events and anniversaries such as 10th anniversary of accession to the EU or anniversary of joining NATO. Almost all ministers from both countries were present. During the meeting they assured their mutual interests in different affairs and their common approach to solving them. European affairs, common defense strategy along with the NATO membership, cooperation in building infrastructure and connecting both countries, energetics, energetic security and market of energy, financial cooperation and taxation were among main topics that were discussed during that meeting. After the meeting they issued joint governmental declaration. Both governmental delegations agreed that next meeting should take place in the Czech Republic in 2015.
