Made in Czechoslovakia

On Thursday 29th both Czech and Slovak export banks have signed agreement of cooperation and renewal of historic ties in manufacturing and in export. This means that they will try to reintroduce the brand “Made in Czechoslovakia” for the brands and countries where it would be beneficiary as there are still many markets that would react better to “Made in Czechoslovakia” than “Made in Czech (or Slovak) Republic” or “Made in EU”. The aim of the agreement is to acquire and share information on appropriate exporters and importers, to search for profitable projects and transactions and is extending the present cooperation when exporting to third countries. This comes despite the fact that when asked a question about this subject present Slovak President Andrej Kiska said that this trademark was already a thing of the past.
