The Government announced its intention to introduce measures that should promote the economic growth. The Government expects that concrete steps should be prepared till the end of October. The intention emerged at three-party discussions in the summer of 2012, initiated by employers. The Government should stimulate export by simplifying administrative burden for domestic companies. Financial means should be ensured for infrastructure and research and development projects. Reaching of higher efficiency of financial means spent, the Government also intends to lower the number of operational programs of the European structural funds in the European budget period 2014-2020.

At its session on 10 October, the Government also approved the private members’ bill regarding the process of transparent grants awarding at the regional level. The private members’ bill with a positive resolution of the Government is heading to the Chamber of Deputies.
