The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced opening of visa center of the Consulate General of Dresden (VC Dresden) on May 1, 2023. Full visa agenda from individual embassies of the Czech Republic in the Schengen area (so far Berlin, Bratislava, Brussels, Warsaw, Vienna and Zagreb) will be moved to VC Dresden. Applications will be accepted in Dresden from May 15, 2023. 

The visa center in Dresden is intended primarily for accepting applications for long-term residence permits from citizens of non-EU countries who are long-term/permanent residents in a state of the Schengen area or a European microstate and are moving to the Czech Republic.
