According to the Governmental plan of increasing the public spending effectiveness, the Ministry of Regional Development intends to constitute a new state office (the Office for Public Spending). The aim of the Ministry is to centralize the process of state investment announcement and assessing possible offers, controlling public spending effectiveness in cooperation with other public control offices. The Office should provide with advisor board for public private partnership and application for financial support. The Office should also treat legislation regarding the public spending (i.e. preparation of new legislative Acts and harmonization the current Acts).
The Ministry has postponed the proposal for internal prompts. After coping with the prompts, the Ministry will finalize the Bill and put it forward to the Government.
