The Ministry of Trade and Industry released a commentary to the actual economic situation (February 2013). The Ministry explains the relative economic drop by the decrease of car industry production. The situation of the car production reflects the rather stagnating European market situation. Besides the decrease of economic activity, Czech export has also steadily dropped. The Ministry expects that the economic situation could be boosted in the second half of the year 2013.
