The President Miloš Zeman appointed a new Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, a chairman of the Czech Social Democratic Party. The newly appointed PM has also handed the list of future ministers of his Government over to the President. The President further asks for personal consultations with the candidates (the consultation should start this week). The appointment of the Government is expected till the end of January, 2014.
