Radio Prague/planes.cz: Prague-Shanghai air link to launch in April. Air Transat to double number of flights to Canada in summer.

A direct airline link between Prague and Shanghai should be launched by China Eastern Airlines on April 2 next year, a spokeswoman for Prague airport’s operator announced. The flights should take place three times a week. Direct flights were launched at the end of September this year to Beijing by Hainan Airlines with the start of flights to Shanghai regarded as further proof of the Czech Republic’s stepped up business and economic links with China, Radio Prague wrote.

Also, the planes.cz server informed that Air Transat plans to increase the number of flights between Prague and Toronto/Montreal in summer 2016 to two flights weekly. There are three Toronto-Prague flights per week already planned by Air Canada Rouge carrier for May to end September 2016.
