International School of Brno holds debate of politicians with students

On October 3, the International School of Brno organized a student debate with representives of political parties competing for Brno mayoral seat.

Markéta Gregorová (Pirate Party), David Grund (ODS), Jaroslav Kacer (Smart Moravská Metropole), Ladislav Kotík (TOP 09), Petr Kalousek (Žít Brno), Jan Perla (Green Party), and Jaroslav Suchý, KDU-ČSL answered curious questions on projects and plans for Brno in the areas of sports, culture, transportation, education and aspects related to foreigners living in the city.

A dynamic debate was professionally moderated by a student of the final year of the school. In his closing speech, Jan Švihálek, Head of the International School of Brno, encouraged the children to critically think, make informed, responsible decisions, and vote once they are adults.
