QS University Rankings: EECA 2016: Three Czech universities among top ten

QS University Rankings published a list of top universities in the region of Emerging Europe and Central Asia. Three Czech universities are among the top ten; Charles University in Prague (4th place), Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT, 7th place), and Masaryk University in Brno (10th place).

Brno university of Technology ranks 19th, Palacký University in Olomouc 58th and University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague 75th. More details and rankings of other Czech universities are available here.

Among the criteria assessed are academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty/student ratio (15%), papers per faculty (10%), web impact (10%), staff with a PhD (5%), citations per paper (5%), and International faculty (2.5%) and international students (2.5%).
