LINET represents the Czech Republic at the exhibition in Brussels

Two LINET-branded products are on display in Brussels from this September until January 2023 at the Design and Transformation exhibition organised by the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). The event is being held as part of the Czech Presidency of the European Council, which lasts from July to December this year.

"Already in design of our products, we focus not only on their functionality and innovation, but also on making sure that they are truly what healthcare professionals want. The design of the products is therefore a crucial aspect, and it is of the highest quality. That is why LINET has been working with talented Czech designers such as prof. Ivan Dlabač for more than 20 years," says Tomáš Kolář, Managing Director of the LINET Group.

At the exhibition, LINET is presenting the premium Multicare X intensive care bed, which supports the proper functioning of the lungs, enabling safe positioning of patients and their early mobilisation. Among other things, it makes it easier for staff to care for the patient: for example, the lighter frame as well as the motorised fifth wheel make transporting the patient much easier. The second presented product is the Sprint 200 transport bed, which requires significantly less pushing force and provides ergonomic braking on all four sides. The author of the design of both of these products is prof. Ivan Dlabač, among others the head of the industrial design studio at UMPRUM, and his studio DIVAN.

UMPRUM (the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague) has a high prestige. Its history dates back to the 19th century. It has several departments with studios run by renowned artists. In addition, the school holds a number of exhibitions as well as popular presentations of student work. Its graduates have long enjoyed success not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.

The Brussels exhibition Design and Transformation is divided into two parts. The first started on September 7th 2022 at the Design Museum Brussels and will be open until early January 2023. The second part started on September 8th 2022 at the Prague House in Brussels and will last less than a month.
