Competitiveness: Zet.cz: Scientists at Czech Technical University develop intelligent navigation for cyclists

 

The system is applicable in 25 Czech cities and the Slovak capital Bratislava. The application shows which routes cyclists choose in a particular moment and identifies problematic parts of cyclopaths. Among others, data provided by the Cycloplanner (Cykloplánovač) application could serve municipalities to remove barriers on routes used by cyclists, Michal Jakob of the working group for intelligent transportation and logistics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University (ČVUT) says.
