Competitiveness: Czech Republic rises in investment attractiveness (updated)

 

New investment projects are being negotiated by the Czech government, including companies such as Kiswire, ArcelorMittal, or Foxconn Technology Group, for example. Read also about the problems wiith the HTC investment. The CzechInvest state agency reports 196 new investment projects in the past 18 months worth almost 108bn CZK and around 23,000 new jobs. The investments are concentrated in the automotive sector and geographically in the Moravian-Silesian region in the northeast of the country. Read more.

According to the Prague Post, the Czech Republic is rated 25th in the world in terms of investment attractiveness for foreign firms this year, moving up five places from last year thanks to improved economic conditions, the ranking compiled annually by the international consulting network BDO says.
