Good Governance: CTK/Prague Post: Gov’t may toughen public procurement rules

 

The conditions of placing of public orders without a tender might be toughened as from next year, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Social Democrats, ČSSD) said after meeting Regional Development Minister Karla Šlechtová (for ANO) on 7 November, CTK and Prague Post wrote. Before being approved by the Cabinet, such orders, proposed by ministries, would be assessed by a working group, Sobotka said, adding that concrete parameters for such applications to meet will be set...“The Regional Development Ministry has several weeks to prepare the proposal,” he said.
