Czech Agreement of Partnership with EU accepted

On Tuesday 26th August the European Commission approved the Czech Agreement of Partnership with EU. This will enable for the Czech Republic to draw structural funds in the total amount of 22 bn EUR which are to be invested until the year 2020. From these funds 2 bn EUR will be used on the development of countryside and 31 million on fishing. Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said that by timely approval of the Agreement the Czech Republic accelerated its pace in preparation for the drawing of the structural funds and would also improve the competitiveness of the Czech Republic. During the negotiations the EU Commissioner said that he hoped that the Czech republic will accept new Civil Service act as it was one of the EU requirements during the negotiations with the Czech Republic.
