Czech government approved that the Czech Republic will be bidding to host UN summit named “European habitat” with the topic of living and cities to be held in March 2016 in Prague. “European habitat” is to be a preparatory event for the big international UN Summit “Habitat III” that is to take place in Ecuador in October 2016. If Czech bid is accepted the UN European Industry Committee as one of the 5 regional committees with its 56 members states is about to convene in Prague. To host such event is very prestigious and it would show the Czech Republic and Prague as a good place for the congress tourism. Whether the Czech Republic is or isn’t going to host this important summit is to be decided till the end of March 2015.
