On 21 and 22 June 2012 the Employment, Social policy, Health and Consumer Affairs ministers met in Luxembourg. The Council’s agenda included discussions on Europe 2020 strategy, posting of workers, health and growth programme etc.

Council held a debate on the Europe 2020 strategy as well as the European Semester 2012 in the context of social policy and employment. Additionally, it took conclusions on the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund, equal treatment and pension adequacy. Ministers also agreed on the third multi-annual EU programme in the field of health for the period of 2014-2020.
