28th May 2010

From drafts recently submitted to the Government (April 27 to May 24, 2010)

The Government passed a Report on the Implementation of the Plan to Reduce the Administrative Burden for Entrepreneurs presented by Industry and Trade Minister Vladimir Tosovsky at the Government session on April 27. The aim of the Government is to reduce administrative burden for entrepreneurs, related primarily to information duties, by 20 percent by the end of 2010 and, in line with EU’s plan, push for a cut of 25 percent by 2012. Entrepreneurs saved almost Kc9.62 billion in 2009. Measures adopted so far include the introduction of extra-judicial settlement of disputes between consumers and entrepreneurs or the launch of a health insurance providers portal (www.portalzp.cz), for example.
