Government supported development of new technologies in automotive industry

The Minister of Industry and Trade Jiri Havlicek and President of the Automotive Industry Assocation Bohdan Wojnar signed a memorandum on 11 October to make it easier for domestic vehicle manufacturers to develop new technologies and keep up with foreign manufacturers. The Memorandum focuses on three areas of automotive market development: the development of electric vehicles, fully and partially autonomous vehicles, and the development of digitization. Ensuring the future of the Czech automotive industry has a major impact on the Czech economy and employment. said Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Social Democrats) at a press conference.
