EasyJet airline has announced its new direct scheduled connection between Prague and London to be launched during the 2018 summer season. The carrier will operate its new direct service to London Southend Airport with Airbus A319 or A320 on Mondays and Fridays effective 27 July 2018, Prague Airport announced.

The South Moravian Region Council approved the founding of a company with Romanian Blue Air and wants to start flights to seven destinations, including Barcelona, Brussels, Lviv, Milan, Rome through the year and to Dubrovnik and Split in the summer, planes.cz writes. More details will be available in January 2018. The region intends to invest 60 million crowns in the development of air transport in 2018 and increase the number of passengers by 130,000, planes.cz writes.
