planes.cz/Prague airport: Prague to be connected with 6 London, 4 Chinese airports

From 15 September, Mondays and Fridays, Hainan Airlines plane after arriving in Prague from Beijing, will fly from Prague to Belgrade and back, and later countinue to Beijing. More details

British Airways announced the launch of its new Prague – London City route effective the start of the winter schedule, with flights operated by the carrier’s daughter company, BA CityFlyer. Prague will thus have a connection with all six international airports in London (i.e. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, City, Southend) from the launch of operations on the route, Prague airport press release says. London City is a small airport closest to the City center, planes.cz write.

Czech Airlines cancelled the regular flight between Prague and Malmö, and at the same time, the airline added flights to Copenhagen (to 20 flights per week). More.

Qatar Airways announced speed-up with opening their DOH-PRG route. Daily direct service will be flown from August 21st 2017. More details.

China Eastern Airlines has launched ticket sales for its new route which will connect Václav Havel Airport Prague with Xi’an in central China. Xi’an will become the fourth Chinese destination, alongside Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, with a direct scheduled connection from/to Václav Havel Airport Prague. The first flight to the new destination is planned for Sunday, 29 October 2017. The carrier will also increase the number of its connections to Shanghai from the current three to four weekly services, Prague airport press release says. Various options were in the pipeline during the preparation phase of the line opening, but it is now possible to buy tickets for Thursday and Sunday flights in the company's reservation system. Turkish Airlines began freight flights to Prague from July 1st. Flights are scheduled until October 28, 2017, Thursdays and Saturdays, on the route Istanbul-Riga-Prague-Istanbul. Turkish Airlines Cargo expects to transport the most frequently transported commodities, including electronic components, clothing, food, car parts, heavy goods products, etc. More by planes.cz.
