Drop in demand for Koh-i-noor HARDTMUTH ("school") products in Russia, means drop in production and need to dismiss employees. Koh-i-noor director Vlastislav Bříza ml. is reluctant to dismiss staff (around 150) in the Czech Republic, where the company was established in 1790, and decides to close down production plants in China and satisfy the demand in Asia using the Czech production operations.
