November 10, 2020, 2 pm. What type of private investment will spur recovery AND accelerate the country's transformation into a high-tech research-based economy?

Public investment in salaries and loan guarantees is stabilizing the economy. Private investment, especially those which can multiply the effect of EU funds, will be what determines how well economies move out of the crisis. The AmChams of CEE have put together a roster of the leaders (including Dalibor Kačmář of Microsoft Czech Republic, Ondřej Vlček of Avast Antivirus, Milan Šlapák of GE Aviation and Michel Perret of Carrier Refrigeration) of companies that have made pathbreaking investments in the region. They will make the business case for those investments and discuss the potential for such investments to multiply.
