Good Governance: EconLab/Charles University/ceska-justice.cz: Mandatory disclosure of contract data - one mistake per contract on average found

 

Profile of a contractor is an electronic tool that makes some public contracts data accessible to public. EconLab, an organization at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University in Prague, used software to go through all contractors' profiles and found many mistakes - one mistake per contract on average, including missing data on prices, or suppliers, for example, the ceska-justice.cz server wrote. It is likely that many contractors are not aware of it. EconLab in cooperation with Datlab launched a website where each contractor can find "their" mistakes. Read full article (in Czech).
