Dan Ťok accepted the post of Minister of Transportation after a long and successful career in business. Before entering politics, he chaired The Platform for Transparent Procurement, which pushed for better quality in procurement through increased planning and accountability. The Sobotka government was in the middle of its term when he joined, and his two year stay in office is scheduled to end at the end of the year.
