OECD analysis of collaborative problem-solving skills: Czech 15-year-olds who attended pre-primary school are more likely to enjoy, value cooperation

Globally, girls are much better than boys at working together to solve problems, according to the first OECD PISA assessment of collaborative problem solving. Czech 15-year-olds responded to questions related to team work, relations with peers and teachers.

Eurostat: Less than 9% of Czechs suffered from material and social deprivation in 2016

In the Czech Republic, the material and social deprivation rate in 2016 was higher among people with primary education (21.2%), followed by those with secondary education (7.8%) and people with tertiary education (1.7%).

Prague.tv/QS university ranking: Charles University drops in rankings

Charles University fell again in the rankings of higher educational institutions by British firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The school ranked as high as 233rd place in 2014 put has fallen steadily to 314th place in the newly released 2018 rankings, prague.tv writes.
